My dragon was my favourite Art project this year. The lesson asked us to use a variety of watercolour techniques. We also had to use a warm/cool colour scheme and our dragons had to have three different textures. Our teacher Ms. Purkis also asked us to use our imaginations when we drew our dragons.

The watercolour techniques that I used were salt, scratching and wet on wet. I used the salt in the background, scratch around the dragon and wet on wet on the actual body of the dragon. My dragon is warm coloured, so the background is cool coloured.

My dragon is long and skinny but not very large. Most people would think that a dragon is very large. However I wanted to show the other side of dragons. The scales are all different designs to show the texture of the dragon.

This dragon is important to me and I love it. It shows my point of view and what I think about dragons.
