I carefully blended oil pastels to try to achieve the effect of a girl's "second face" revealed in water. I was inspired to do this project because I believe many people pretend they are someone else completely and their true face is seldom shown. This piece was a variation of our first, smaller drawing, made with analogous pencil crayons. While creating this project, I encountered the dilemma of trying to make everything perfect and forgetting about the distortion, but in the end I pulled it all together and I'm proud of my work!
