Olivia To start off, I took a piece of coloured paper and wet it thoroughly. Then I set it aside to dry a little bit while I painted a picture of trees and water on a transparency. I made sure to do it fast so that the paint wouldn't dry. Next I placed the transparency (paint side down) on the semi-wet paper. I then rubbed it gently with a paper towel to get the paint off the transparency. Then I peeled off the transparency, and there was my monoprint! Once it was dry, I taped another clear transparency to my monoprint and traced the picture with a transparency marker. Then I put black ink all over its' opposite side. I put it ink-side down on my picture and traced the lines that I had made with the transparency marker with another pen. When I was done, I lifted the transparency off my paper, and it had outlines on it! I found it very fun to make! |
