I really wanted this piece of work to be bright and stand out. I think by choosing bold colours and weird patterns I was able to do this. I thought my painting looked cool, and by adding alcohol and clear tar gel to the paint I was able to make the work 'pop', making it look even more fantastical. I think at the top of the pate the technique is more defined, because the white and the purple contrast well. If I were to do it again I would not use the pink and keep the background white to strengthen the contrast.
