This year in Grade 9 Art, we worked on a project involving the depiction of water in Canadian landscapes. We began the project by creating an oil pastel study from a photograph. From there, we used the oil pastel study and the photograph to create a painting. It really made me realize that water isn't just blue. This project helped me realize the beauty of nature.
