Teacher positions are covered by a collective agreement with the Alberta Teachers' Association.

Edmonton Public Schools recruits to a pool of applicants. Referrals to principals are made from this pool when vacant positions are identified. We do not post specific teaching jobs, but we do accept applications for all types of teacher positions on an ongoing basis.

Prior to employment, successful candidates will be required to submit records check documents.

Unique or difficult-to-fill teaching assignments are posted on Apply to Education. Applicants are invited to express interest in posted positions by submitting an application through the Apply to Education website.
