:: City Centre Education Project
Edmonton Public School's City Centre Education Partnership (CCEP) is an innovative collaboration that brings together four schools and community based services across nine of Edmonton's downtown core communities. CCEP serves students from an early learner age through to the completion of Grade 9. Early learners and children in grades Kindergarten to 6 are served at Delton, John A. McDougall and Norwood Schools. Junior High students are served at Spruce Avenue School.
The purpose of CCEP is to ensure all students from Edmonton's inner core have equitable access to an enriched educational program of learning that will prepare them for life capacity and success.
In order to achieve this goal CCEP is founded around three pillars of organizational action and belief: providing outstanding educational programming; organizing across the four schools to capitalize on the strength of a multi campus model for learning; and collaborating with community based partners to provide students and families with non educational supports and services directly on site at each of the four schools.
