Our Mission
To support, promote and guide the German Bilingual program at Edmonton Public Schools.

Get Involved
Get involved with AEGBEE and your child's education by attending a meeting! Contact the AEGBEE executive at aegbee@gmail.com.

Membership in AEGBEE and Meetings:
All parents of students enrolled in the German Bilingual program and Die Kleine Kinderschule (DKK) are automatically members of AEGBEE. Executive meetings between the parent AEGBEE executive, school principals, DKK representative, and language consultants are open to all parents.

Meetings are held at each German Bilingual school location throughout the year and the dates are communicated via school newsletters.

Approximately five meetings are held during the school year to discuss:

• program and resources (eg. library books)
• input from parents
• casino fundraising and funding allocations
• yearly promotional campaign

Language consultants (ie. contests, resource support, German language professional development days for teachers) and principals provide updates at each meeting on activities involving the German bilingual students.

AEGBEE's German Children's Library

The German Children's Library has over 1,500 children's books in stock, as well as DVDs.
