:: Media Releases Friday, December 11, 2009 Good Things Are Happening Today at 2:30 p.m., a cheque for $9,314.69 will be presented to representatives from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by École Greenfield School students. The funds were raised through the 5th Annual École Greenfield School Kids' Walk to Cure Diabetes. All 511 students at the school participated in the thirty minute walk on October 16. The goal this year had been to raise $7,500. In five years, the École Greenfield School community has contributed $45,110 to help find a cure for Type I Diabetes. Further information: |
