Security and Vandalism

Policy

1. The Board of Trustees endorses a multi-faceted approach to security, including the prevention and reduction of vandalism, in order to ensure:

• a safe and secure learning environment, and
• the protection of Division assets. 

2. The Division encourages community members to get involved in reducing the occurrence of vandalism on school property by being vigilant and reporting unlawful behaviour to the police. 

3. The Division may offer an acknowledgement for information leading to the arrest of any person(s) involved in breaking into, or causing willful damage to Division buildings or property.
