These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Brookside School

Brookside School provides a small, personalized, supportive learning environment for elementary students. We have a strong and supportive parent community with a very active Parent Council that contributes to our welcoming and collaborative school culture. There are many opportunities for student-driven learning, student participation, co-operation and leadership.

At Brookside, our teachers focus on high-quality teaching practices. They provide differentiated programming and work together to ensure a rich academic experience for every student.

We offer regular inclusive programming from Kindergarten to Grade 6, plus an Interactions Program. Students begin French as a Second Language in Grade 4, and a music specialist supports learning from Grades 1 to 6. Many clubs and extracurricular activities are available, including running club, patrols, student council and choir. Our building is also used by an out-of-school care program and the community.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe in:

  • creating a caring, supportive environment in which each student is valued and given opportunities to achieve personal excellence
  • partnering with students, staff, parents and the community to prepare individuals for the future
