These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Keheewin School

At Keheewin School, we nurture relationships—with people and learning. Balanced Literacy is part of instruction from Kindergarten to Grade 6, and French as a Second Language is taught in Grades 4 to 6. We have a computer lab and SMART Boards installed in classrooms, and a music specialist teaches all students. We also have a program for students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Keheewin School serves students in Keheewin, Bearspaw and the South Ermineskin community as well as in our extended neighbourhood. Parents value the family atmosphere and quality education, and we have an active school council. Parents and community volunteers are very involved with the school and play an important role in helping students succeed.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • That the purpose of education is to produce citizens who strive for personal academic excellence and contribute to the well-being and growth of themselves, their peers and the community
  • In valuing tradition and providing students with the very best teachers and learning tools
