The Grand Isle, Stillwater and White Birch neighbourhoods in Riverview will be redesignated for Kindergarten to Grade 6 for the 2018–19 school year.

The change will be in effect for the 2018-19 school year.
Once a student enrols at a school, they can continue to attend that school. This means students attending Michael A. Kostek School can choose to stay, if they wish. Siblings of these students would also be able to attend, as long as the student and their sibling attend the school at the same time.
Michael A. Kostek School will no longer be the designated school for the Grand Isle, Stillwater and White Birch neighbourhoods. Only eligible students who attend their designated school receive yellow bus service.
Parents of students attending a District school can pre-enrol in SchoolZone between March 12 and April 16, 2018. If your child is entering Grades 1-6, sign in to your parent account to select either Michael A. Kostek School or Ormsby School as your preferred school, depending on where you choose to send your child.
Students are guaranteed entry to their designated school if they register (new students) or pre-enrol (current students) no later than April 16, 2018.
