Join us in celebrating Black History Month

News item: Join us to celebrate Black History Month

February is Black History Month! This month, students, staff and community members will celebrate and learn more about the lives, histories and accomplishments of Black Albertans and Canadians.

From art projects and social studies lessons to visits from influential Black Albertans, schools will engage in activities and share in learning about the incredible impact Black people have on the city, province and country.

Talk to your school about what they have planned to recognize Black History Month.
