Celebrate the opening of Thelma Chalifoux and Soraya Hafez schools

In September 2020, Edmonton Public Schools was thrilled to open two brand new schools: Thelma Chalifoux School (7–9) in Larkspur and Soraya Hafez School (K–6) in McConachie South.

Although we were unable to bring each of these school communities together in person for grand opening celebrations this year, the Division did want to acknowledge and celebrate these new schools.

We invite you to watch the two videos where you can virtually tour both of these amazing schools and hear greetings from the Board Chair, ward Trustees and school principals. Enjoy!

Land Acknowledgment
