About Metro Continuing Education

Metro Continuing Education provides flexible and diverse learning opportunities for students of all ages. We deliver a broad range of classes in neighbourhood schools to help people explore their interests and achieve their goals, including courses for Division staff to help them enhance their performance. Our offerings include academic success programming, English language services, personalized business and computer training, and diverse leisure and recreation courses.

Metro Continuing Education has been a vibrant part of Edmonton Public Schools since offering its first night class in 1891. We provide a vital service to the community, helping students of all ages and interests in their pursuit of academic and personal achievement, and are a hub for personal and professional learning in the Capital Region.

Schools that show attendance areas

Schools that do not show attendance areas

If there is no attendance area to select, students may be eligible to attend as long as:

  • the school provides the right type of programming to meet their needs
  • the school has room
  • the student meets any entrance requirements of that school.
