Introducing the Equity Advisory Committee members

Edmonton Public Schools has formed an Equity Advisory Committee. The committee’s efforts will reflect our commitment to work toward eliminating systemic racism and support equity throughout the Division.

The committee's work is facilitated and supported by Dr. Yvonne Chiu and Marlene Hanson.
COMMITTEE FOCUS
The committee’s first focus will be on how the Division can set up a model to collect race-based data and provide recommendations around important next steps to the Superintendent by spring 2021.
