Advancing construction on new 7–12 school in Glenridding Heights

Construction on the Division’s new school in the Glenridding Heights neighbourhood is moving ahead, and we’re excited to share a glimpse of what’s in the works.

The new Grades 7–12 school, expected to open in fall 2028, will feature:

a capacity of more than 2,400 students
a modern design similar to Dr. Anne Anderson
purpose-built space for instruction in welding, cosmetology, and a commercial kitchen
a partnership with the City of Edmonton to provide recreational facilities for the community

Though this is just one of the new schools in construction, it will provide much-needed high school space for the Glenridding Heights neighbourhood.
