Information Management manages the Division's records, including the Student Record, and ensures the Division meets its obligations under the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA). It ensures that all records are maintained in a time- and cost-effective manner to meet the Division's legislated responsibilities.
This department also provides guidelines, best practice standards and training relating to all areas of record and ATIA/POPA management, coordinates all Division ATIA requests and manages the Central Records Storage Facility.
You may need to request letters or records for Revenue Canada to support an application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or to register at a school outside the Division. Learn how to request letters, student records or Grade 9 transcripts.
