Edmonton Transit Service (ETS)


Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is the preferred means of transportation for students in Grades 7 to 12.

BUS PASSES

BUYING AN ETS BUS PASS

ETS passes are available at a subsidized price through your child’s school. Students can buy a subsidized ETS pass as long as they aren’t provided with other subsidized transportation.

Students must pay the full cost of a monthly bus pass, even if:

  • they don’t ride the bus every day
  • they buy the pass mid-month

REPLACING A BUS PASS

Students can buy a replacement ETS pass at the school office.

USING AN ETS BUS PASS

ETS student bus passes are valid for unlimited travel with Edmonton Transit Service, including during statutory holidays.

ACCEPTABLE ETS RIDE TIMES

Acceptable one way ETS ride times to a designated school are:

  • Elementary (K-6): 40 minutes and 0 transfers
  • Junior high (7-9): 60 minutes and 1 transfer
  • Senior high (10-12): 60 minutes and 2 transfers
