About Vernon Barford School

Vernon Barford School fosters positive feelings of self-worth in students and challenges them to reach their potential. We offer the regular and Gifted and Talented programs. Complementary courses include:

  • French as a Second Language
  • Spanish Language and Culture
  • art
  • drama
  • instrumental music
  • clothing, textiles, fashions
  • food studies
  • construction
  • career explorations

Special needs students are integrated into regular programming where appropriate.

Vernon Barford School has partnerships with a number of community organizations that benefit our students and is supported by an active school council. Our school has high expectations for student growth and achievement.
