Program Enrolment 2020-21View more information

These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About W.P. Wagner School

W.P. Wagner School strives to be an exemplary school, committed to creating a caring and respectful school community of learners and leaders that foster integrity.

W.P. Wagner serves south-east Edmonton neighbourhoods. We strive to prepare all students for post-secondary studies, the world of work, community living, and other creative pursuits. As an innovative high school, we offer cross-curricular programming in academics, the arts, athletics, international languages, student leadership and career and technology-related studies.

Our enrichment programs include Advanced Placement, Advanced Placement Capstone, Focus in Research, Science and Technology (FIRST), and the Campus EPSB Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Program. These opportunities allow students to explore new possibilities and pursue their passions. Student-driven extracurricular programs such as Student Senate, Connect Crew, intramurals, school clubs and teams provide further opportunities for an enhanced school experience. Students can take Work Experience and the Registered Apprenticeship Program through partnerships with local businesses. We are also a Division site for Interactions, a program that supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This reflects the inclusive and integrated nature of our school.

We believe:

  • In providing a supportive and challenging environment for all students which will prepare them for their next steps in life, whether that be post-secondary education, the world of work, community living or other creative endeavours
