Soliciting Schools

Vendors may solicit schools through postal mail only. Direct contact with a school or department is only allowed if it is initiated by the school or department.

Marketing through schools

Vendors are not allowed to use schools to market their businesses. Flyers, coupons and other marketing material sent to or delivered to schools, including by email, will not be distributed to students or parents.

Community boards

Some schools have bulletin boards for community events and information. Posting on these boards is at each school’s discretion.

Consequences

If you are found to be soliciting schools, this could impact your registered vendor status and any future business with the Division.
