About Johnny Bright School

Johnny Bright is an inclusive community school located in the Rutherford neighbourhood in southwest Edmonton. Johnny Bright School provides programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 9. We are active on social media, tweeting about the exciting news happening in our community. Our school council and parent society are involved and committed to supporting our school.

Johnny Bright staff has built a collaborative environment with the mantra “These are all our students”.  The staff are involved in professional learning activities with a focus on improving teaching and learning at all levels.  We aspire to excellence in learning opportunities through our Three Pillars: Academics, Athletics and Activity for learning and excellence in citizenship and community involvement. ‌
