News item: Public input about concepts for schools in mature neighbourhoods

Last spring, Edmonton Public Schools began a conversation with parents and community members about the challenges our District is facing in three mature areas—Britannia, Rosslyn and Westlawn—and the opportunities to create great learning spaces for kids.

We collected feedback and ideas on potential solutions and formed working committees to develop concepts for each community area. The committees—made up of principals, parents, community members and the City of Edmonton—have been working hard since October 2016.

ATTEND AN INFORMATION MEETING

Parents, staff and community members are invited to attend one of the upcoming meetings to:

  • learn about the working committee’s progress
  • review potential concepts
  • share your feedback in small group discussions
