These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About Lauderdale School

Lauderdale School encourages students to be motivated, strategic, goal-oriented, resourceful and knowledgeable. Our school offers Full-day Kindergarten for community attendees, regular programming for Grades 1 to 6 with French as a Second Language for students in Grades 4 to 6. We also offer Interactions for students diagnosed with Autism as well as a modified academic program for students with mild cognitive disabilities from Grades 1 to 6 and for students with learning disabilities in Grades 4 to 6. There is an emphasis on music in all grades.

Students from communities other than the Lauderdale School community are welcome to attend our modified programs where space permits. We have partnerships with community organizations that benefit our students by providing opportunities such as sponsored field trips, snacks and lunches.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • That all students can learn when we are dedicated to the development of the whole individual
  • That students share responsibility for their learning
  • In involving parents in supporting our students
