Pregnant and Parenting Teens

Program Description

Braemar School supports students who are pregnant or parenting. The Division provides educational programming and works in partnership with Terra Centre to provide basic needs assistance and parenting resources.

Program delivery

  • A full range of academic and career and technology studies (CTS) courses
  • Supported self-directed learning and work experience programs
  • On-site day care operated by Terra Centre staff
  • Flexible scheduling
  • One-on-one consultation about academic and career goals
  • Support for students seeking financial assistance and bursaries

Eligibility

Students between the ages of 13 and 20 are welcome to enrol any time during the school year. For more information about eligibility and programming options, contact Braemar School.

Alberta curriculum

All Edmonton Public Schools programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education. Students enrolled in Braemar School will receive the same high-quality education offered in all of our programs.
