These numbers represent enrolment on September 30 as submitted to Alberta Education.

Program enrolment may not equal a school's total enrolment because:

  • students may be enrolled in more than one program, and
  • some programs are not shown.

Enrolment data gives parents a general understanding of the number of students at a school or enrolled in a program. Although we’ve made every reasonable effort to ensure the data is accurate, there may still be errors. To confirm enrolment, contact the school.

About George H. Luck School

George H. Luck School is committed to creating a strong community for all students. We are an elementary school that aims to provide exceptional learning opportunities for students using Assessment for Learning, Differentiation for Instruction and Literacy programming. French as a Second Language is taught in Grades 4 to 6, and we have a music specialist for Grades 1 to 6. An inclusive school, we welcome special needs students in our classrooms.

Our students use SMART Boards, document cameras and FM systems to enhance learning. Each year, we sponsor an artist-in-residence project as well as special art-focused events, and there are many extracurricular clubs and experiences for students. Our students are also very active in outreach initiatives, contributing significantly to their local and global community. We have a strong partnership between parents and staff.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

We believe:

  • In providing quality learning experiences for all students, enabling them to be successful and to contribute to their community
  • In sharing our expertise, learning from one another and supporting each other in our learning and teaching
  • In respect, integrity, caring, purpose and celebrating the joy in our work and the learning of our students
